I see that the top BBC story being read online today concerns the terrible plight of Paris Hilton who has been sentenced to 45 days in prison.
Someone on MySpace has organised a petition calling for this 'unfair sentence' to be quashed and I for one am in full agreement.
To quote a passage from the article................
The petition paints Ms Hilton as a role model who "provides hope for young people all over the US and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives".
And that, in a nutshell, says it all for me.
So pass me that petition and let me get my John Hancock on it. Then point me towards the other petition that DEMANDS that the spoiled, braindead bimbo has to serve at least 6 months on a Louisiana chain gang just for being who and what she is. Oh, and reinstate the 45 days as well. To run consecutively of course.
And so endeth my shortest post ever - as that's all the time I want to spend on her.

Totally agree with you. And when she comes out of prison I'd introduce a far worse punishment - a total media ban on mentioning her name again in any newspaper or magazine, ever. This would provide a perhaps minor, but nevertheless very pleasing improvement to the world.
"all the time I want to spend on her."
Most people spend about 15-45 minutes on her.
